The Wall That Heals opened at the LBJ Presidential Library on Friday, April 22, 2016. The opening ceremony included remarks by LBJ Library Director Mark Updegrove, The University of Texas at Austin President Gregory L. Fenves, and Vietnam veteran John A. Miterko. Members of the Texas Association of Vietnam Veterans gave the presentation of colors and performed a combat cross ceremony in honor and dedication to the fallen.
